Brighton Women v Crystal Palace Women preview: kick-off time, team news and form

Brighton & Hove Albion host Crystal Palace Women in a London-meets-Sussex derby of sorts on Sunday 1st November, with kick-off at 2.00pm at Broadfield Stadium in Crawley.

Both sides will see this as a valuable opportunity to pick up points in the bottom half of the Women's Super League table. Brighton currently sit 9th, while Crystal Palace are down in 13th, so there's plenty riding on this one for both clubs as they look to build some momentum heading into the busier winter schedule.

Brighton's recent form in the WSL reads DLWLW, a mixed bag that has included a heavy win and a couple of defeats against sides higher up the table. They'll be hoping the victory in their last outing can be a platform to kick on from here.

Crystal Palace, meanwhile, head into the match on the back of a tough run in the league: LDDLL across their last five WSL fixtures. They have found goals hard to come by recently and will be looking to tighten things up at both ends of the pitch as they travel to Sussex.

Brighton have scored 13 goals in the league so far this season against 10 conceded, while Crystal Palace have managed 6 goals scored and let in 15, underlining the gulf in goal difference between the two sides heading into this fixture.

No team news or injury details are available for either side ahead of this one, so supporters will have to wait and see what starting line-ups both managers settle on come matchday.

Kick-off at Broadfield Stadium is 2.00pm UK time on Sunday 1st November 2026.
